Studenţi din Statele Unite ale Americii de la” Texasa University” au decis de a sărbători Revoluţia egiptean în felul lor propriu, Studenţi din Departamentul de limba arabă au organizat o ” seara muzicale pentru a saluta revoluţia egipteana din 25 ianuarie “, unde au cantat in cor inclus zeci de cântece egipteane ”Vocea de libertate “în arabă.
În ciuda lipsei de stăpânire a limbii arabe este clar ca totuşi tinerii americani au cântat Frumos si au aratat binecuvântarea si bucuria lor fata de revoluţia egiptene.
studenţii de ambele sexe purtau haine, reprezentând cele treiculori ale drapelului egiptean: negru, alb şi roşu, în timp ce publicul a fost umplut cu prietenii şi comunităţile arabe,si citeva sute de ascultatori
doi studenţi au desenat steagul egiptean pe o partea din fata şi pe de alta parte,cuvintele din cântec, în timp ce ecranul de fundal de difuzare clipvideo de piesa care a devenit una dintre pictogramele revoluţiei egiptean.
Students from USA of Texas University decided to celebrate the Egyptian Revolution in their own way, Students of the Arabic Language Department organized a ” Musical evening to greet the Egyptian revolution of January 25″ , where they sang in choir included scores of Egyptian song “Voice of Freedom” in Arabic.

قرر طلاب جامعة تكساس الأمريكية الاحتفال بالثورة المصرية على طريقتهم الخاصة، حيث نظم دارسو السنة الأولى لقسم اللغة العربية أمسية فنية لتحية ثورة 25 يناير المصرية، حيث غنى كورال ضم عشرات الشباب الأمريكي أغنية “صوت الحرية ” باللغة العربية.
ورغم عدم إتقانهم الواضح للغة العربية، إلا أن الشباب الأمريكي المشارك بالأغنية ارتأى أن يبارك الثورة المصرية بأغنية من قلب مصر تعبيرا عن سعادتهم بما أنجزه الشباب المصري.
وقد ارتدى الطلبة من الجنسين ملابس تمثل ألوان العلم المصري الثلاثة: الأسود والأبيض والأحمر، بينما كان الحضور كثيفا من أصدقائهم ومن الجاليات العربية حيث كانت الصالة مكتظة بمئات المستمعين.
وحملت طالبتان لافتتين على وجه كل منهما علم مصر وعلى الوجه الآخر كلمات من الأغنية، بينما كانت شاشة خلفية تبث الفيديو كليب الخاص بالأغنية التي أصبحت أيقونة للثورة المصرية.
وقد أدى الطلبة الأغنية باندماج شديد، حتى إنهم تناغموا مع بعض حركات المتظاهرين التي كانت تظهر على الشاشة. كما ألقت طالبة مقاطع من قصيدة (الميدان) للشاعر الكبير عبد الرحمن الأبنودي.
